How To Make The Most of your 2 Years at IMT-Dubai!

Things I Remember Most About My Life @Campus

1. Amazing Batch mates- Yes, we fought, yes we had rivalry, yes we gossiped sometimes and we did all the things that I am sure all the mortal kids @B-school do, but today as I look back I have only Two Words to say, I Love you all !, those days wont come back but yes your memories will remain with me forever.

2. Amazing Amazing Juniors- We had one of the most amazing set of juniors at IMT-Dubai, most of them had an urge to leave their mark, brought the campus alive with their campus photography( Loved your MBA Gautam!:)), all of you guyes were amazing, to those I came Close to and to those I couldn’t, I have just two words for you “Thank You!”

3. A Superb Media Committee( M.E.T.H)- I have just one word for you Guys, “Extraordinary!”.I am proud to have been associated with M.E.T.H and will always remember all the hard work that you guys had put in. Kshitij, Lisa, Neha, Shwetha, Jeff, Arpit, wish you all the best for the new academic year, Keep up the good work!

4.  Placement Committee Room- My Second home away from hostel room, have spend about 3/4 th of my campus time in this room in Academic Block, had myriad meetings over for issues ranging from organizing Vaudeville to as trival as deciding on the food menu for the dinner, would always miss.

5. The Placement Committee and our Escapades @India(Jan,2010)- Now, I can never forget the experiences I had as a Placom member @ Circa jan 2010 in India, one of the most exciting and frustrating experiences of our lifes, Guys, I am sure you all rememeber!:)

6.  Late Night Walks around 24×7- I am sure all of you will have this memory, those late evening walk till the only grocery store in our vicinity, was our only respite or break from the hectic life@campus.

  1. One More Important Thing to Remember for Class of 2012, The Vending Machine In-front of Canteen eats a lot more 1 AED Coins than the one in the A-Block, Gyaan- “When in need of a quick coffee break, go for the A-Block vending machine..!”:)

  2. Oh ankur…old memories are here again 🙂 today also when i sit and think abt life @ IMTD i feel its just the matter of few days back. No work loads, amazing teachers, fog @ Christmas night, rain in december, beaches, discs, seth sir, examination halls, 24* seven walk, rumors, late night walk, and lots more 🙂 I really miss my college days :(.
God knows who broke that vending machine of girls hostel but knowingly or unknowingly everyone will compensate for it from security money…lol 😛
Hats off to placecom members who worked hard but will never forget that HR companies didn’t come…lol
nyways i m not sad that college phase got over infact i m happy that it happened as I faced different facets of campus life 🙂

Good to see so enthusiastic junior batch & Best Wishes for them and i m sure that they will leave with a great Bang! 🙂

  4. Ankur,

This is an amazing write up that you have put …. Just when I started to sulk about the college being over I had the pleasure of reading this…. I am left with nothing more to say after whatever you and Suchi have written but all I can say is that we all went through thicks and thins in the past two years in our own ways but I think we all learnt a great deal living with each other so far away from home.

But I am surprised how you missed out on the great Marketing Summits that we had with the world’s best Mentor. 😉 That I felt was the only missing element somewhere in your write-up. 😛

I also want to take up this space for mentioning that we truly had an amazing batch of juniors who had fun, dedication and respect for each other and all of us. You guys rock! And all the best in all your future endeavors.

    Smiles
    Ami

Thanks for your kind and nostalgic words.

Coming from the most bindaas girl of our batch! Means a Lot..:)

Hope you are having a nice professional career:)

      Keep writing and sharing in.

      Cheers,
      Ankur
